Privacy Policy for Proof Note

Proof Note is a privacy-focused, local-first recordkeeping application developed by SWEAF®. This Privacy Policy explains what the app accesses on your device, what it stores, what it does not collect, and how premium purchases and support requests are handled.

1. What Proof Note is

Proof Note helps users create private records using photos, video, voice notes, text entries, timestamps, proof types, templates, and optional location details. Its purpose is to help users organize and preserve their own records for personal, household, property, work, travel, delivery, damage, incident, finance, and similar documentation needs.

2. Core privacy model

Proof Note is designed to work primarily on your device.

The app does not require a user account to create or store proof records.

Proof records created in the app are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

3. Data the app may access on your device

Depending on the features you use, Proof Note may access:

• Camera, to capture photos or video
• Microphone, to record voice proof
• Photos, videos, or files you choose to import
• Device storage or file access, to save records, export backups, import backups, and export/share proof records
• Optional location data, only when you choose to add a location stamp or related location detail
• Device biometric/PIN capabilities, if you enable Proof Lock

The app accesses these features only to provide the functionality you actively use.

4. Data the developer does not collect from the app by default

Proof Note does not create a cloud account for you.

Proof Note does not operate a developer-hosted cloud database for your proof records.

Proof Note does not upload your proof records to SWEAF® servers as part of normal app use.

Proof Note does not sell your personal or sensitive data.

5. Premium purchase data

Proof Note may offer a one-time premium unlock through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play, not directly by SWEAF®. The app may query Google Play billing information that is necessary to determine whether premium access has been purchased and restored on your device. Proof Note does not receive your full payment card details.

This premium unlock is intended as a one-time, non-consumable purchase.

6. Sharing and exports initiated by you

If you choose to:

• export a backup,
• import a backup,
• export a proof,
• share a proof,
• or send records to another app,

that transfer is initiated by you. Once you export or share a file outside Proof Note, the privacy and security of that file depend on the destination you choose.

7. Support requests and website contact

If you contact SWEAF® through email, your support page, or a website form, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, email address, issue description, screenshots, or exported files. That information is used only to respond to your request, provide support, troubleshoot issues, or fulfill deletion requests where applicable.

8. Data retention

For in-app records stored locally on your device, retention is controlled mainly by you. Your local records remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, clear app storage, overwrite them, or import/restore different data.

If you contact support and send attachments or information, SWEAF® may retain that support correspondence for a limited time as reasonably necessary to resolve the issue, maintain support history, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.

9. Data deletion

Because Proof Note does not require an in-app user account for normal use, there is typically no server-side Proof Note account to delete. You can usually delete your local data by:

• deleting individual records inside the app,
• deleting exported files manually from your device,
• clearing app storage,
• or uninstalling the app.

10. Security

Proof Note includes optional features such as Proof Lock, local storage controls, and proof-integrity indicators to help users protect their records. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure, and you remain responsible for securing your device, exported files, and any third-party apps or services you choose to use.

11. No legal, forensic, or evidentiary guarantee

Proof Note is a consumer support tool for personal recordkeeping and organization. It is not a law-enforcement, certified forensic, chain-of-custody, notarization, e-signature, or court-evidence platform.

Use of the app does not guarantee legal admissibility, legal sufficiency, authenticity determinations by third parties, or any specific outcome in a dispute, claim, investigation, insurance process, workplace process, or legal proceeding.

12. Children

Proof Note is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent on their own where such consent is needed.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
